We have so many amazing softs plays and play cafes in Wakefield and the surrounding area! They are the perfect place to let the kids run off a bit of energy!!
The indoor areas at farms and zoos will be allowed as well as aquariums. The Deep are re-opening on 17th May, and I xan’t wait to take my baby girl as its such an amazing sensory experience for babies!
Yippee, more places you can have a day out and the indoor attraction will be open!!! Take a look here but this means Wakefield Districts Museums (no need to pre-book!) will be opening as well as The Hepworth, National Coal Mining Museum (re-opening 19th May), and the galleries at Yorkshire Sculpture Park!! And in Leeds, Temple Newsam House (re-opening 18th May) and Lotherton Hall Museum (re-opening 17th May)!
If you have a child who loves trains and railways I’ve added a new section to the website that is dedicated to a train day out. A lot of these places we have visited with our little boy and make a fantastic day out – for more info click here
Think of cinemas, bowling alleys, trampoline parks, indoor crazy golf … they’ll all be able to open!! Which means our Wakefield cinema, Reel will be opening their doors again with tickets from £2.50 and basically all the attractions in Xscape Yorkshire!!
Two households or 6 people are allowed to dine indoors!! I have now spent a few places in apres ski wear dining in a half open marquee so this one I am really happy about and the fact I don’t need to breastfeed outside anymore when out and about!!
