COVID-19 UPDATE

The outdoor play area at Grass Hoppers will be reopening on Wednesday 8th July 2020.

Things will be a little bit different than before but all the changes we’ve made are to make sure that you feel safe and secure when visiting us for playtime!

For more information and to book your playtime session, click here grasshoppersplay.co.uk

Grass Hoppers is a safe and secure play space for families set in the grounds of Tong Garden Centre. You’ll find a huge outdoor adventure playground and a large indoor play area where children up to the age of 10 years old can enjoy proper playtime!

The outdoor play area includes Jumping Pillow’s, Giant Sandpit, Water Play, Race Track, Zip Wire, Adventure Play Area and under 4’s pre-school area with playhouses and outdoor toys.

How are you keeping everyone safe?

As always, our priority is the safety of you and our team, so we have taken steps to ensure this continues to be the case.

  • We are minimising the number of children we allowed in to use the outdoor play area. (We previously allowed for 300+ into our outdoor play area, we are now only allowing up to 130 children in to enjoy the space)
  • Dedicated entrance and exit for Grass Hoppers
  • More sessions Monday to Saturday meaning less people on equipment
  • New food menu with a focus on quick takeaway options
  • Sanitising stations and regular cleaning of equipment
  • Indoor Play will remain closed until further notice
In order to give as many children as possible the opportunity to play, we have made the decision to offer up to four sessions per day, which are as follows:
Monday – SaturdaySunday
Session 109:00 – 10:4509:45 – 11:30
Session 211:00 – 12:4512:00 – 13:45
Session 313:15 – 15:0014:15 – 16:00
Session 415:30 – 17:15

The sessions will be £5 per child (under 1s remain free), per session and only 2 adults allowed per child.

Booking required.  Suitable for babies and toddlers.
