MumblerFest 2022 – Family Fun Day & Toddler Show

Join us at MumblerFest 2022!

MumblerFest 2022, our amazing Family Fun Day and Baby & Toddler Show is returning at GSAL on Sunday 10th July 2022, 11.30 am – 4 pm.

Our third annual fun day will be packed with free activities and taster classes for babies, toddlers and children, showcasing some of the amazing children’s activities, classes and party providers West Yorkshire has to offer.

Entry to MumblerFest 2022 is completely FREE* as are most of the activities and entertainment thanks to our co-host and sponsor GSAL.

*There will be a nominal charge for car parking which will be donated to our chosen charities Leeds Baby Bank and Zarach.

Activities on the day will be suitable for children of all ages from babies and toddlers to school-age children up to approx 12 years.

There will be 4 activity zones at the fun day (please note children must be supervised by an adult at all times during the day).

ORANGE ZONE

Bouncy Castle and Face Painting

There will be a Farrars Attractions Inflatables bouncy castle and an inflatable Pirate Ship! You will be able to buy a wristband for all afternoon bouncing or pay per bounce!

Farrars will also be doing Face Painting from their stall (Charges apply)

Football Fun

• The inflatable theme continues with the return of the awesome Bubble Football sessions with United Education (Ages 6+)
• We are delighted to welcome Foot-Tech Academy back for their THIRD MumblerFest Fun day! They are bringing the air pitches for drop-in football games, football tennis, penalty pinata, and lots of other football-related fun and games! We can’t wait!!
• You can also try your luck at the Voltco ‘Hit the right spot’ football game. Every child who ‘hits a spot’ will get a sweet prize and adds their parents into the prize draw to win £100 off an EV Charger installation!
• Sebastian’s Ice Cream Van will be onsite
• Refreshments will be available from the drinks van.

• Rhythm time Yorkshire North West, Wakefield and Leeds are joining forces and will have instruments kids can come and have a play on, bubbles for babies and some Rhythm Time colouring sheets.
• Little Seedlings will be exploring nature and learning through Tuff Trays.

PINK ZONE

• Joining us at MumblerFest2022 is West Yorkshire Classics, who will be bringing down a REAL LIFE Fire Engine.
• The GSAL Outdoor Classroom area will be open for you to explore and enjoy some reading time.
• Hop on board a First West Yorkshire Full-size Bus and enjoy a bean bag toss game where you can score points to win a bus ticket!
• Test your skills on the Skateboards and scooter track from LS-TEN who are back for their 3rd Mumbler Fun day!  All equipment provided.
• Yorkshire Air Ambulance are bringing down their unit, activities you can find there will include:
  A buzz wire game

  A hook a helicopter game

  Pilots helmets to try on

  Cut out pilot and paramedic for photos ops!

BLUE ZONE

• Meet the Mumblers at our Mumbler Welcome Desk & First Aid Point – we would love you to stop by and say Hi!
• GSAL has kindly agreed to let MumblerFest 2022 attendees use their amazing play park equipment in the Primary School playground. Please note all children remain the responsibility of their parents or carers when using the park area.
• Water Babies will be hosting their very own MumblerFest Treasure Hunt. You can download and print the hunt sheet here, limited copies will be available on the day.
• In the Performance Hall, there will be FREE taster sessions from local baby and toddler class providers including My Informed Birth, Tiny Beats, Union of Dance & Rhythm Time. These sessions are a great way to try out a new class or activity before the new term in September. No pre-booking is required for these, turn up at the hall ten minutes before the session starts. (*If the maximum number is met for these sessions entrance will be on a first-come, first-served basis)
• We have some great entertainment taking centre stage including Love Pop Choir, Union of Dance & Rhythm Time.
• Lion learners will be bringing a selection of bugs and minibeasts for children to get up close and personal with!
• ARTventuers West Leeds, North Leeds and Wakefield are joining forces to create the perfect messy play area. Sample some of their tuff-trays and create your masterpieces to take home.
• There will be stalls with activities for children from: Mini First Aid, Zarach & Cub Nursery.
• Head over to Grubbalub‘s Pop-Up Shop to find out all about their new cooking classes for kids and to purchase one of their fabulous at home cooking and baking kits!
• Meet the Moo Music Leeds Mascot and enjoy some music & movement fun!
• Bloom Baby Classes will be introducing you to some of their amazing Bloom songs, actions, props and multi-sensory activities as well as running some competitions
• Stockeld Park will be bringing one their famous Mascots to MumblerFest 2022– don’t miss your chance for a cheeky selfie!

RED ZONE

• The Little Gym Leeds is bringing down their Gym Equipment and will be on hand to guide the children to perfect their basic gymnastic skills!  For children from babies up to the age of 12
• Meet and greet with photo opportunities with a Princess!! Plus enjoy some wonderful Princess songs from Charlotte The Singing Princess and some classics from Singing Mums in our Outdoor Performance area.
• Nic Shuttleworth Photography will help you design and colour a frame for your Free polaroid picture to take home.
• Tiny Trio Play will be on hand to assist your little ones in making their very own bird feeders to take home and hang in your garden.
• Leeds Baby Bank will be running a Festival Glitter station.
• Yorkshire Coffee Company will be providing refreshments at MumblerFest2022 and will be onsite for your caffeine fix!
• There will be stalls with activities for children from: Children’s Corner Nursery, Number Train, Baby Sensory & Little Orchard Children Speech and Langauge Therapy
• Pop-Up shops from Doodlebug, Peacos Leeds, The Cahm Collective, Edith X Lily and My Informed Birth
• Food & Drink Van plus outdoor seating area.
