Start your Easter adventures this school holiday with the National Trust. Each 10-point trail has nature themed challenges around a Yorkshire garden near you. Pick your nearest or head further afield, with many running over two weeks, you could try a few.
Just outside Wakefield is Nostell, along with the trail, don’t miss the woodland adventure play area. Feel the wind in your hair as you zoom between the trees on the zip wire – it’s a whopping 30 metres long.
Other places to visit in West Yorkshire include East Riddlesden Hall and further south head to Wentworth Castle Gardens. In North Yorkshire pick from Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, Beningbrough, Ormesby Hall, Brimham Rocks and Nunnington Hall.
Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet for that garden adventure, bunny ears to make and wear and a dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate egg prize at the end.
Normal admission charges apply to each place, or free to National Trust members and under-fives.
