Ponderosa Zoo
The zoo is home is over 120 animals from lemurs to reindeers and is a really personal, friendly facility where children can get really close to the animals.

Newby Hall
Explore the beautiful gardens, play in Newby’s exciting Adventure Garden which is designed for children of all ages – from swings for toddlers through to climbing frames and bridges, an aerial slide and pedalo boats for the older children. Don’t forget your swimming costumes or wetsuits for ‘Tarantella’ the dancing water play area by William Pye!
A firm favourite with my two is the miniature train ride through the gardens and looking at the amazing Dollshouse and Teddy Bear Exhibitions. They also have seasonal events running throughout the year and school holidays.

Stockeld Park
Stockeld Park is a magical all year round adventure park with seasonally themed adventures running most school holidays (and a little bit extra at Christmas!) Activities change with the seasons at Stockeld but year round you can enjoy The Enchanted Forest with large adventure playgrounds, explore the Maze, ride the electric scooter trail and take part in activities with the Stockeld Rangers. Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster is the UK’s No.1 walk-through wildlife adventure.
