Set out on a fun family trail around the gardens of Nostell as we search under rocks and logs on a hunt for creepy crawlies in the gardens.
Can you make a spider web and follow the giant snail trails?
If you are visiting on 2nd or 3rd November, make sure you drop into the Orangery between 11am and 3pm to make your own little spider to take home.
Continue your hunt for creepy crawlies in the house and get a close look at some of the creepy pests that cause damage to old houses like Nostell.

3. Halloween at Stockeld Park
Head to Stockeld Park this October half term and experience all the magical Halloween themed fun on offer.
The Enchanted Forest will be transformed into a spooky celebration! You can pick the perfect pumpkin from our pumpkin field, every paying child gets a free pumpkin! The Playhive will be open to explore and you can see the FANG-tastic show!

4. Witches & Wizards at Pontefright Castle
Get wicked this half term with our Witches and Wizards October activities at Pontefright Castle!

5. Lotherton Hall Spooky Scarecrow Trail
Visit Lotherton this October half term and follow the spooky skeletons trail around the estate and into the haunted house!
Dress up in your best Halloween costume and prepare to be scared as you explore the woods and seek out all of the skeletons who have made Lotherton their home.
Don’t miss the Nocturnal House in Wildlife World to see our bats in action!

6. Farmer Copley’s Pumpkin Festival
The popular Farmer Copleys has planted 250,000 pumpkin seeds, so they’ll have pumpkin plants of every shape size and colour, to ensure you find your perfect pumpkin. There will be the pumpkin carving tent and lots of the normal activities and entertainment such as story telling, barrel rides and face painting!!

7. Mother Shipton’s Halloween Haunted Village
Suitable for all ages, watch out for witches, ghosts, and creepy skeletons around every corner in the Haunted Halloween Village! There’s frightful fun to be had with photo opportunities and fancy dress competitions.
See the incredible Petrifying Well and the birthplace of a real witch at Mother Shipton’s Cave! The park has scenic picnic areas alongside the popular River Nidd, an adventure playground, gift shop and museum.

8. Cannon Hall Farm
This Halloween half term join Cannon Hall Farm for a fabulous, family-friendly day of Pumpkin Picking, carving and shows with Barry the wannabe wizard!
There are thousands of pumpkins available for visitors to pick as well as all the animals to see on your visit and fun indoor soft play and outdoor adventure playgrounds!
All paying children get a free pumpkin – additional ones are available to purchase for adults and under twos.
