Illustration is not just art; it’s about finding a snapshot moment that captures a story in one image.
Throughout the last year Tom Bailey has been turning stories from across the Wakefield area into illustrations that you can see on the walls of the Moving Stories exhibition. Now it’s your turn to add your story to the mix.
Get creative at Wakefield Museum this half term, as Tom leads you through how to find and tell your own personal stories and turn them into a striking illustration to take home.

Runaway Letters (2 to 5 y/os)
Thursday 1 June
11am to 12pm and 1pm to 2pm

The letters have escaped and run riot in the museum! Can you catch them all?
Find the letters hidden around the museum and bring them to the Story Station to make some wonderful word art! Please note the adventure starts in Wakefield Museum on the hour then continues in the Learning Zone upstairs for some creative chaos.
