I am Nicola and I am a fully qualified, Ofsted registered childminder in Sandal, Wakefield. I live at 4 Kingsley Avenue with my husband and our two children.
I offer a calm, welcoming and high quality home environment for children from the age of 6 months to 5 years.
I am open from 7:00am until 6pm, Monday to Friday and offer funded places for 3-4 year olds.
I drop off and pick up from Hendal Primary School.
Our home is a spacious, detached and extended house with a front and secure rear garden. It has a dedicated playroom (which is lovely and sunny) and a large open plan kitchen/dining area with a large dining table – perfect for sitting together at mealtimes, learning to prepare meals, baking, and learning to become artists through messy play. The garden is secure, with a wooden play house/mud kitchen; the space is versatile and safe. I have a downstairs toilet and utility room too.
Prior to retraining as a childminder, I spent 10 years working in a leading accountancy firm. I am now realising a dream of becoming an early years educator – something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
