Shire Rose Yoga

Lyndsey Hornby is a qualified Hatha Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga instructor that specialises in beginner, prenatal, postnatal, and Mama and Baby yoga and will be running yoga classes every Wednesday and Saturday online

 

Prenatal Yoga 

We encourage all Mums who are in their second and third trimester to come experience the benefits of prenatal yoga on their bodies and babas! We will focus on breath work, pelvic floor exercises, and movements that strengthen the body to get ready for labour.

 

Postnatal Yoga 

This class is specifically made for new Mums who have passed their 6 week check up (or for c-section Mamas,12 weeks is recommended). We will focus on core strength, posture, muscle tone, and the ever important pelvic floor! We encourage Mums to bring their babies as there will be movement and yoga for them as well, we only ask that you bring along whatever they need (blankets, toys, car seats) and feel free to tend to their needs whenever that may be. Babies are welcome from 6 weeks – 1 year old/until they start crawling unless they are happy to stay with their toys.

 

Hatha Yoga 

This class is great for beginners, postnatal Mums, all ages and genders as the class promotes slow movement, growing strength, modifications and breath work.

 

Yoga for Runners

This class is all levels, whether you have been running for years or are just starting! We will focus on strength, flexibility and developing our yoga practise to help our running goals.

 

All Shire Rose Yoga classes are now being held on Zoom! Details are below but please email shireroseyoga@gmail.com or message me on Facebook (Shire Rose Yoga) for more details on how to pay for classes and receive your Zoom ID for each session. All classes have unique Zoom ID’s.

 

Hatha yoga classes are held on the following days/times. All classes are 60 minutes.

Monday night at 7.30pm

Wednesday night at 7.30pm

Saturday morning at 10.15am (includes Postnatal Mums)

 

Drop-in: £5 per class

For a full week of Hatha yoga (all three classes): £10

NHS staff/essential workers: £2.50 per class*

Tuesday evening at 7.30pm
