Track the story of coal from zero, to hero, to net zero and understand why it has been so popular for so long, how it fuelled the Industrial Revolution and what might replace it in the future.

SPARK’S STAMP TRAIL
FREE – Collect from Reception
Work with Spark to collect different energy sources around the museums four zones. Then use the trail to make your own windmill.

Delve into the ups and downs of coal through this multi-sensory performance that explores the formation of coal and reveals how we came to discover and use the king of all rocks.

SURFACE INNOVATIONS EXPLORE
