Hop on with a ‘choo-choo’ and a ‘clickety-clack’ and join in with our fun interactive story.

Find out how rhubarb was grown in Wakefield. Learn how it travelled to other places on a special train!

Take part in messy multisensory activities. Use rhubarb to make your mark and have some foody fun.

16th February 2024 – Lets Make Rhubarb Crumble!

 

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Wakefield’s wonderful history of rhubarb.

Work together to make yummy rhubarb crumbles to bake at home (gluten and dairy-free ingredients available).

Be inspired to ‘start’ your own rhubarb crumble business. Design eye-catching packaging for your new products!

This workshop is delivered in partnership with the Community & Family Learning Team at Wakefield Council’s Adult Education Service.
