Join the artist and printmaker Sally Gilford for this fun and free screenprinting workshop exploring the shapes, colours and repeated forms found in 1960s abstract art. Using the brightly-coloured sculptures and paintings on display in Kaleidoscope as your inspiration, you can make your very own work of art to take home.
Drop in and have a go any time between 12:00 and 16:00; last entry to the workshop will be at 15:30.
This event is suitable for all ages, however children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
All materials will be provided.
We will be using water-based screenprinting inks. Aprons will be provided but please come in suitable clothing.
This event is fully accessible and suitable for wheelchair users.
This event accompanies the Arts Council Collection touring exhibition Kaleidoscope: Colour & Sequence in 1960s British Art at Longside Gallery
