Storthes Hall Park is moo-ving in a new direction at its latest family farm fun day planned for Saturday May 11, 12-4pm.
There will be no horsing around at this free event – just wholesome outdoor “fun on the farm” with furry and feathered friends to pet and say hello to.
Families would be baa-rmy to miss this great event with a llama, pygmy goats, pigs and sheep amongst other two and four-legged friends enjoying a day out at Storthes Hall Park, near Kirkburton, Huddersfield.
As well as the animals there will be a tractor and free arts and craft activities to keep the kids entertained, coupled with a talented face painter who is bound to be busy.
Storthes Hall Park Events and Commercial Manager Mandy White said: “We have planned a full afternoon of activity for the whole family. People always say never work with animals or children but that’s what this day is all about and we can’t wait!”
There will also be refreshments available on the day and free parking.
