Kirklees Lights Railway is a 15” narrow gauge railway set in the South Pennine foothills, only 20 minutes from the centre of Wakefield. On trains and adults and children over 11 years old will be asked to wear face masks. Adventure playgrounds at Shelley and Clayton West will be open. The Clayton Flyer will be taking visitors around the duck pond.

The zoo is home is over 120 animals from lemurs to reindeers and is a really personal, friendly facility where children can get really close to the animals.

Celebrate your inner Robin on a Robin Robin adventure trail at Fairburn Ings. Complete the trail and you will learn to sing like a robin, find your own superpower, and use all your senses to connect with the robin within!
Activity packs are £3 each from the Fairburn Ings Visitors Centre and trails are available 9:30am – 4:00pm, no need to book!

The big machines are coming out of their sheds at Boston Park Farm. For two days only you can see tractors, trailers, telehandlers, harvesters!! There’s lots for children to look at and information to tell you what they do.
