A bit of rain wasn’t going to spoil our fun, we just made sure we had full waterproofs, towels and spare clothes!
Arriving was easy, we parked up, presented our tickets and took Mini Mumblers photo at their beautiful flower wall!
Our first adventure was the the huge maze! The kids enjoyed playing the musical instruments, climbing to the tower and going over the bridges but we couldn’t seem to get to the centre of the world statue!! Finally we got there, passing lots of people going in the wrong direction!
We then headed to the outdoor play area with the go carts. The kids zoomed round racing as we watched on! They played on the slides and swings and the whole area was on artificial grass so there was no chance of it getting muddy!
We had taken a picnic but as it was wet, we decided to take advantage of the cafe to get some warm food and dry off! The food was fresh, yummy and reasonably priced. The kids were kept entertained with a free painting and craft session indoor too! The lady running the session drew the most beautiful unicorns! There was also an indoor bouncy pillow and inflatable slide.
I knew there was a lot more to Stockeld Park from what we had seen before lunch so it was now to see what the Enchanted Forest was all about!!
Wow, this is what Stockeld is known for!! Adventure play area after play area with slides, rope nets, play equipment based on children’s favourite stories, musical sculptures … the list goes on and the attention to detail and quality of the equipment really did amaze me!!
We spent a decent amount of time zooming down the slides (slides are faster in the rain and with waterproofs!!) and exploring each area with the trees keeping a lot of the rain off us!! I did feel like a drowned rat by the end of it but I think our smiles show how much fun we had!!
Well done Stockeld Park, you really do have an amazing attraction, your staff are amazing and we can’t wait to come back in the Autumn to see your winter illuminations!!
PS. Daddy took Mini Mumbler a week later (in the sun!) and they spent 7 hours at Stockeld Park!!
