Food created fashion in the Middle Ages!
Join us to discover how common foods gave colour to medieval clothes. Explore the different colours of food-based dyes and find out about their history.
Learn a new skill in batik and create your own food-dyed batik bag!

This workshop is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16. Accompanying adults are welcome, but not essential.

Discover who built and lived in the Castle and the stories it holds. Find out how it has changed over time.
Tour is accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with pushchairs.
