Review blog for Funstation
You don’t need to head to the coast to have fun at the arcade games, as Funstation provides a brilliant selection of interactive games for the whole family. From hungry hippos and basket ball to penny slots and VR simulators there were so many different types of games to keeps 4 kids aged 3 years to 9 years old entertained!
My biggest fear for these things is the bank balance! Funstation, however, provides a cashless system where a card is pre-loaded with the amount of cash you chose and then you swipe or tap your card at each game. This takes away the massive potential argument of “oh just one more” as the kids were able to take control and choose how they used their credit. At each swipe station they could see their balance so they always knew how close they were getting to the end! We had 80 tokens on the card which was £15 and the games were around the 4 tokens.
As you complete the rides you are awarded tokens, and these can be swapped (or saved for another day!) for prizes. Prizes range from a packet of sweets up to huge toys … my son has his eye on something so he got a few sweets but saved the rest! Our daughter came away with a foam aeroplane, some sweets and a yoyo!
We had a great time and is perfect to add onto another activity at Xscape, a trip to the cinema or a meal out!!
Funstation also do a brand new birthday party package. To find out more info click here
