***Wakefield Mumbler Recommends Tumble Tots Wakefield***
I realise that I’m a bit late to the party on this one! I’ve had so many people tell me to try Tumble Tots but when I was working I struggled to find the time. Since being on maternity I’ve made the most of my time with Mini Mumbler before she starts school and before Tiny Mumbler was born.
I went on maternity leave as early as possible so that I could do the pre-school run, and spend time with Mini Mumbler whilst she was still our only priority. I’m so glad I did, and I’m even more pleased that I chose for us to spend our precious time together at Tumble Tots.
At times it seems the soundtrack to our life is, “whoops”, “be careful”, “watch out” I’m not surprised that Mini Mumbler likes to tell everyone that she is clumsy, she can trip over thin air! She’s always lacked confidence climbing, balancing and doing anything that requires coordination. Dancing has helped and she loves to spin about but climbing was still making her anxious.
I wasn’t sure how she’d take to Tumble Tots and on the first session, she really wasn’t sure. Angela and her team were able to support and challenge her so that she could build her confidence over time. By the time we finished the term she was off by herself, no holding hands and loving it. I hugely regret not taking her sooner, and I’ll be taking Tiny Mumbler along for sure.
Everything about Tumble Tots is well thought out, the equipment feels safe, sturdy and well-made. Angela and her team are well trained in terms of safety, child development and performance (you can tell that they all really enjoy what they do and that rubs off on the parents and the children). I’ve never seen so many Dads in a pre-school class let alone ones fully embracing The Grand Old Duke of York, including actions and genuinely enjoying it!
You can expect to pay a little more for Tumble Tots that some other classes, including the membership fee, however when you take into account the equipment, expertise, and insurance costs you’re actually getting a lot for your money. The improvement I witnessed in my own child was obvious and I would’ve happily paid for that.
For the purposes of this review we received a free block of classes at Tumble Tots, we only ever recommend products and experiences that we have genuinely enjoyed. If we don’t like it you won’t hear about it from us.
