Wakefield’s Christmas lights will be switched on by Wakefield Trinity and councillors on Friday 15 November at 6pm in the Cathedral Precinct.
Ridings FM will be hosting live entertainment from 4pm which will include live stage entertainment from local musicians and a ‘Time to Shine’ winner.
The city will also be home to a fantastic Christmas-themed market throughout the day from 10am, children’s funfair rides and themed entertainment.
The market will be open 10am – 6.30pm
