The Gin Society Festival

There’s an unforgettable Gin Experience coming to Wakefield this October.

If you haven’t experienced a The Gin Society festival, you’re in for a treat – we’re in the business of creating a magical experience as you embark on your journey around the world of gin.

Gin lovers can meet friends and fellow gin fans in the splendid surroundings of the Unity Hall whilst enjoying a selection of the world’s finest gins.

With over 120 different gins on offer, you can revisit favourite flavours and discover some exciting new tastes, including sweet violet and bubble-gum gins! Plus, there will be a selection of Prosecco cocktails available too.

The taste sensation continues with the opportunity to try Fentimans’ delicious Rose Lemonade, Valencian Orange and Pink Grapefruit Tonics!

Throughout the session, you’ll have the opportunity to meet distillers, sample their gin and attend the masterclasses to learn a more about the history of our favourite tipple.

To add to the fizzy festival, there will be live music from our resident songbird the glamorous Claire Louise, whose romantic sounds will take you back to those heady days when the gin cocktail was king. And if you feel peckish, there is street food available, including vegan, gluten and dairy free options!

And if you work for the NHS, you get a free drink! To celebrate the NHS’s 70th anniversary, The Gin Society is offering the first drink free to staff that bring their NHS ID card.

Early Bird Tickets are now on sale at just £8.50 (plus booking fee).

Included in the entry prices is a beautiful bespoke Gin Society gin goblet to keep as a souvenir, plus a booklet of tasting notes, access to distillers’ masterclasses and live entertainment.

All gins, including mixer and garnish, are priced at £5. Prosecco cocktails are £10.
