You can bring along your own bikes, many being their little ones here as it is one of the favourite places to learn to ride a bike around Wakefield.
Anglers Country Park appears on our Wakefield Story Trails article for it’s Room on the Broom trail. You can purchase activity packs from the visitor’s centre for £2. From the centre you’ll follow the trail, find sculptures, look for animal footprints, trace rubbings and have fun doing activities along the way.
With a cafe and toilets, Anglers is fairly accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs as it is flat with a few gravel paths. adventure playground next to the Visitors Centre.
