You can bring along your own bikes, many being their little ones here as it is one of the favourite places to learn to ride a bike around Wakefield.
Anglers Country Park appears on our Wakefield Story Trails article for it’s Room on the Broom trail. You can purchase activity packs from the visitor’s centre for £2. From the centre you’ll follow the trail, find sculptures, look for animal footprints, trace rubbings and have fun doing activities along the way.
With a cafe and toilets, Anglers is fairly accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs as it is flat with a few gravel paths. adventure playground next to the Visitors Centre.
But the best bit about Anglers Country Park is the wonderful seasonal events throughout the year. Head to Anglers Country Park to explore their seasonal trails, adventures and maps which are fun, active and get your little ones thinking and asking questions.
