Wakefield Hospice’s mascot ‘Treacle Bear’ has completed 100 jumps for joy and is inviting children (and family members) across the district to join him! This is a great opportunity to get the everyone moving and have some fun (and the chance for little ones to practice counting to 100!). It takes less than 3 minutes to complete and everything you need is available by clicking on the picture above or visiting the Wakefield Hospice You Tube page. https://bit.ly/100jumpsforjoy
If your family does get involved then Wakefield Hospice would love to see photos or videos of everyone jumping for joy. Please email them to fiona.day@wakefieldhospice.co.uk or tag them in on social media.
The Captain Tom 100 Challenge is set to start on Friday 30th April – which would have been his 101st birthday. You can take part at any time over the weekend!
Wakefield Hospice is now ‘fighting back’ to recover from the financial impact of Covid-19. In usual circumstances 60% of the charity income comes from fundraising and retail. Wakefield Hospice would really appreciate it if your family could raise funds from taking part. You can make a donation to Treacle’s fundraising page at https://bit.ly/Treacle100 or you can set up your own to raise sponsorship!
If you have any questions about 100 Jumps for Joy for Wakefield Hospice (or would like to know more about fundraising with us) then please email fiona.day@wakefieldhospice.co.uk or call 01924 331401. Thank You!
